Another great weekend is upon us as Van She will be performing in NYC this Saturday at Tammany Hall, alongside fellow Aussie Plastic Plates. What’s even more exciting is we are having our first OXD Giveaway: a free pair of tickets for their show!

Idea of Happiness, Van She’s chill tropical electro-pop sophomore album, has been one of the most appreciated albums of summer 2012 . Check out the video below for their second single, ‘Jamaica,’ as well as the remix Plastic Plates created for this gem.

Van She’s debut album, V, also has some beautiful moments, including ‘Strangers,’ a track heavily influenced by 80s new wave that is pure bliss.

Plastic Plates has been on our radar for a while now, and we occupied Le Poisson Rouge for his gig last June. He recently released an EP on Kitsuné which includes the original song ‘Things I Didn’t Know I Love.’

Last week, Plastic Plates also shared his delicious new remix for Strange Talk’s ‘Cast Away’.
