Bicep @Le Poisson Rouge, 3.9.13

Bicep, the hottest music act from Belfast, came together through a common obsession with all things analog and are currently working to keep the original spirit of underground house music alive. The duo has been experiencing a strong and rapid rise in the dance scene with every new release, quickly becoming one of the exponents of the revival of the late 80’s/early 90’s house. We invite all fellow gay music lovers to occupy Le Poisson Rouge with us on March 9 for a night with one of the most exciting artists of recent years. Make sure to RSVP on our Facebook event page and spread the word.

‘Visions of Love,’ one of Bicep’s latest singles, is possibly their most iconic track and has been played by many established DJs around the globe, apart from being a constant feature at the premier, OXD approved, NYC gay parties such as Wrecked, Spank and Xanadude.

Another standout, ‘Feel It’ is a powerful primetime house track with a simple keyboard melody and soulful female vocals, which sounds like it could have been taken directly from a Harlem Ball in the 80’s.

Lastly, here is Bicep’s set for Tim Sweeney’s weekly radio show, Beats in Space, including mostly unreleased tracks, performed last time they were in NYC.
